Knowledge, Character and Service
Al Hashmi Academy was established in 1995. Its educational mission draws inspiration from a much older Deccan Sufi heritage — the Qadri-Shuttari tradition of Hazrat Hashimpeer Dastagir.
Established in 1995
Al Hashmi Academy brings Islamic learning, modern education and community service into one institutional mission. The Trust serves learners through institutions in Bijapur and Dharwad — seminaries, schools, a pre-university college, a research library, fatwa service and welfare programmes.
References to a four-century legacy describe the spiritual heritage of Hazrat Hashimpeer and the wider Qadri-Shuttari tradition; they do not describe the age of the Academy itself.

Ten Institutions, One Mission
The Al-Hashmi Educational Welfare & Charitable Trust runs its institutions from the Ainapur, Sindgi Road campus in Bijapur, with a branch seminary and school in Dharwad — seminary Alimiyat, a girls’ academy, CBSE-oriented schools, a PU college, a research library, fatwa service and welfare programmes.
