Al Jamiatul Hashmia, affectionately known as Jamia Hashimpeer, is a premier residential Islamic boarding school in Bijapur (Vijayapur), Karnataka that stands as a beacon of authentic Islamic education combined with modern academic excellence. Established in 1995 under the spiritual guidance and patronage of Qutub-e-Deccan Hazrat Hashimpeer Dastagir (Radiyallahu Anhu), this institution greatly fills the void in imparting high-standard religious education accessible to Muslim families across India.

Spread across a magnificent 7-acre (seven acre) plot of land in Hashmi Nagar near the sacred Hazrat Hashimpeer Dargah, our fully constructed, beautiful campus combines traditional Islamic architecture with modern educational facilities. We are proud to offer a unique dual-education system where students receive comprehensive Dars-e-Nizami Islamic education alongside CBSE/State Board modern curriculum—preparing graduates to become scholars, professionals, and community leaders equally competent in Deen (religion) and Dunya (worldly affairs).

Under the custodianship of the Hussaini Hashmi family and direct guidance of Sayed Muhammad Tanveer Hashmi (Founder President), we maintain the spiritual traditions of Zikr, Muraqabah, and Tarbiyah (spiritual training) that characterized Hazrat Hashimpeer's teachings. At the spiritual center of Al Jamiatul Hashmia stands the magnificent Masjid Al-Hashmi, a beautiful mosque with capacity for 1,000+ worshippers. This architectural masterpiece serves as the central prayer facility where students, faculty, and community members gather for five daily Salah, Friday Jumu'ah, and Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan.

Foundation & Inauguration - A Historic Milestone

The foundation of Masjid Al-Hashmi was laid by distinguished Islamic scholar Sayed Ahmed Zafar Gaylani, whose blessed hands initiated this sacred project. The mosque's grand opening ceremony brought together Islamic scholars, community leaders, and thousands of well-wishers who witnessed the realization of this spiritual dream.
